Monsoon drive 2014 ( Part -02)

Continuation of my previous post Monsoon drive 2014 [part-01]

Day 1 ( July 11, 2014)

Woke up at 11AM refreshed and reached the starting point Hotel Sankam residency, Belgaum by 12.PM. Lots of known faces with whom I had interacted during AIM 2014 shared hi – hello…

Stickers and Numbers were placed in the cars and organized as 10 cars per convoy. The Convoys were split to avoid traffic jams on the roads. There were around 165 people in about 65 cars. People who were crazy about driving have come alone in their cars.

Some madness in the rains..

The first point is to reach the Green valley Resort, Tillari Nagar, Maharashtra.

It was drizzling nicely and spent one hour. Hot tea served with bajjis.

From there we then went on the inner Canal Circuit and came back to the Main Road which led down to Tillari Ghats, totally greenish… spell bound..

It become dark close to the sunset, foggy too..

Muddy roads..

Crossing a bridge built during the British period.. Greenish lands again…

Its totally become pitch dark and we were about to enter Goa toll. En routing via Bicholim, Valpoi to Molem finally reached the destination of the day DoodhSagar Spa and Resort, Molem at 9PM.
